Repatriation in Motion: Brother Leroy Gets His Kantanka in Ghana | Demonstration Over Conversation
Repatriation in Motion: Brother Leroy Gets His Kantanka in Ghana | Demonstration Over Conversation Ọbádélé Kambon 24 Views • 3 months ago

Brother Leroy came home to Ghana and took another major step in his repatriation journey: getting his own Kantanka vehicle. In this video, Ɔbenfo Ọbádélé Bakari Kambon visits Kantanka with Brother Leroy, a RepatriateToGhana client and longtime UNIA brother, to document what Black Liberation looks like in practice. This is demonstration over conversation: supporting Black-owned industry, putting money where our liberation is, and building a real life on the ground in Ghana. From citizenship, housing, relocation, driver’s licenses, and business setup to practical needs like transportation, RepatriateToGhana helps our people make the move with clarity, structure, and support. Brother Leroy’s Kantanka purchase is another success story in the growing movement of Abibifoɔ returning home and investing in institutions that build power.Kantanka also showed real appreciation by offering Brother Leroy free comprehensive insurance because he came through Ɔbenfo Kambon’s recommendation. That is what relationship, reputation, and community-building can do.Learn more about repatriation support:https://www.r2gh.comSupport Black-owned vehicles. Support Black industry. ⁣Link Up Podcast — Ep 12 | Ft Agya Kwadwo and Mama Kenya (Love, Land & Legacy)
Hosts: Niara Esi Ìjèawelē Ọmọlará Kwento & Bakari Kwadwo Ọbatayé Kwento

Akɔaba, Woezɔ, Oɔbaake (welcome) to another episode of Link Up Podcast, where we connect with Abibifoɔ (Black People) doing Black powerful work across Abibiman (the Black Land) and the diaspora.

In this episode, Agya Kwadwo comes back as Link Up’s first returning guest, this time with Mama Kenya — the “air under his wings” — to tell the fuller story behind the work, the balance, and the family foundation that has helped shape their path. They bring us through their 31 years journey of love, family, consciousness, and return.

We discuss Agya Kwadwo’s New Jersey upbringing, Mama Kenya’s roots in Newport News, Virginia, their Hampton University love story, their marriage on Hampton’s campus, military life, raising children, and the powerful role of Know Thyself Bookstore in Tacoma as a community space that deepened their consciousness. The conversation also moves through Agya Kwadwo’s first trip to Ghana, the spiritual connection to his great-grandmother, buying land for generations yet unborn, joining the xmnw Medjay Community, Mama Kenya preparing for her first Sankɔfa Journey, and the legacy they are building so their children and future generations have an ancestral option to return, grow, and live as whole Black people.

This is a conversation about raised consciousness becoming raised behavior, Black love as institution, and the work required to bring the whole family Black home.

Feel free to share your thoughts, and Link Up!
