BLA XIT Joins FAMBULTIK TOUR IN SIERRA LEONE: WIN A TRIP
BLA XIT Joins FAMBULTIK TOUR IN SIERRA LEONE: WIN A TRIP Blaxit 20 Views • 6 years ago

Zina Craft Founder of Crafted Marketing Solutions and Amadu M****ally Founder of Famultik Tours Sponsored Bla Xit to go to Sierra Leone to join a heritage Slavery Tour. I am so excited I cannot wait to go. I hope I bump into Idris Elba again as he is being given Citizenship a Diplomatic P****port and an Amb****adorship.... Way to go Sierra Leone you have the right idea! I hope the Gambian Government is watching you and following suit. I am even more excited because you can win a trip and a DNA test. I want a new one as when I did mine it was years ago and technology has improved since then. I do not know my fathers family tree fully and this might help me to trace my paternal family linage. Augustus Morrison is my great great Grandfather on my fathers mothers line and I found a ship via the UCL website but there were many locations and destinations of de embarkment of the slave ships with the name Morrison who would have been the Slave buyers name. Who knows let go to Sierra Leone to find out more. Ill keep you posted. I have to still purchase a Visa as I do not have a Gambian P****port yet, I ve got a lot of years to wait if the current constitution is anything to go by. So if you could help a sister out I would love to have a camera man with me on the trip. So any donations would be gratefully appreciated towards air fare and accommodation. You can sponsor the fare by giving donations via Paypal using Bopcollective@yahoo.com Lastly I want to thank all of the Bla Xit family world wide for you support especially at this time. We are seriously trying to change things for the better and its hard. Lets all Support the AU in our Executive application for the 6th Region for Diaspora to be immediately recognised as Africans we are African Descendents. We are also African Descendents of the Enslaved and that needs to be remembered. We should not need a DNA test to prove who we are. We should be welcomed home.

SLAVERY IN SIERRA LEONE, BUNCE ISLAND, Day 2 FAMBULTIK TOUR
SLAVERY IN SIERRA LEONE, BUNCE ISLAND, Day 2 FAMBULTIK TOUR Blaxit 20 Views • 6 years ago

This episode is an historical journey into the Slavery past of Sierra Leone . Which is rarely seen and exposed via the media, it is hard to swallow at certain parts due to the sheer inhumane treatment of our Ancestors. The involvement of the Monarchy and the US is clearly evident during tour. It makes the demand for reparations all the more real. We happened to bump into Professor David Olusoga, the man who highlighted in the press, the fact that the British Government was still paying compensation to the slave owners up until 2015 and that Black people were also paying this compensation via the Treasury in their taxes . I personally started a campaign to have our families taxes refunded or rebated as they are unethical and totally unfair and inhumane and uncivilised. For more information you can search for his book online Black British or see this link for more information https://www.theguardian.com/co....mmentisfree/2018/feb
The professor although unfamilar with the Ryan Racism press coverage of the racial abuse of our sons and my family he was very sympathetic to our reasons for repatriating and he showed me a plaque which was really symbolic and placed by his sister what a powerful family. I was filming and I was emotional even angry at times because we are the only race to face and continue to experience the worst episode in human history yet we are not compensated for the genocidal war of slavery against Afrika and Afrikans. The racism and discrimination that we face on a daily basis only perpetuates the suffering. Being on Bunce Island was a real reminder of the damage cause of the division of the pain the sorrow the complete lack of comp****ion. THIS TOUR WAS SPONSORED BY ZINA CRAFT OF CRAFTED MARKETING SOLUTIONS AND AMADU MASALLY OF FAMBULTIK TOURS. Thanks to Melo for editing this episode and MPRA Beats for the soundtrack.

AFRICAN GRADUATION
AFRICAN GRADUATION Blaxit 20 Views • 6 years ago

Bla Xit was invited to witness the graduation of IT students from IIHT. What an inspiring and motivating event attended by influential and successful Gambians, that provided some powerful words of encouragement to the new Graduates . We captured some of the ceremony to share with you to give you an insight into what a College Graduation looks like here in the Gambia. Let us know your thoughts in the comments below.
As you know Bla Xit are out and about capturing and sharing as much as we can about life in Africa, however recently we have been receiving a lot of emails about the usual negative coverage of Africa by mainstream press outside of our Continent. This is is not a new phenomena and nor will it be, this is just the scandalous the sensationalism that sells and promotes and demonstrates their continuous influence within and outside of Africa. Widely exaggerated claims only serve to further taint the reputation of our Continent. The problem needs to be tackled in its Continent of origin in Europe. Africa Diaspora News with Phill Scott has my comments should anyone want to hear my views. Do not let a targeted and premeditated media attacks dissuade you from coming home as I suspect that was the motive behind it. Lets stand strong and unite and not let anyone divide us. Forward Ever Backwards Never!
Thank you to all of our followers, our subscribers, our viewers, we totally appreciate you so much. We wanted to show you the success that Africa has in store for you. Africa has so much to offer and many nations are here enjoying Africa it is time for us African's to come home. Thanks to Wode Maya for starting us on this path and supporting us up it . Please watch and subscribe to Wode Maya if you havent already.
