⁣Tinga Tinga Tales of Africa Episode 12

Dr. Chancellor Williams describes the process of acculturation, which Africans worldwide have been subjected to a "white mind transplant."

The result has some people of African ancestry looking on Africa with scorn. Dr. Williams goes on to describe the greatest victory of the white world as being the conquest of the Black man's mind.

The acculturation process tried to blot out the African's knowledge of self and create an illusion were all things African were savage. Any noble African tradition was to be dropped as pagan.

Light energy is a kind of kinetic energy with the ability to make types of light visible to human eyes. Light is defined as a form of electromagnetic radiation emitted by hot objects like lasers, bulbs, and the sun. Light contains photons which are minute packets of energy.

Desert elephants are not a distinct species of elephant but are African bush elephants (Loxodonta africana) that have made their homes in the Namib and Sahara deserts. It was believed at one time that they were a subspecies of the African bush elephant but this is no longer thought to be the case. Desert-dwelling elephants were once more widespread in Africa than they are now and are currently found only in Namibia and Mali. They tend to migrate from one waterhole to another following traditional routes which depend on the seasonal availability of food and water. They face pressure from poaching and from changes in land use by humans.
