Judith Bakirya had quit her NGO job nineteen years ago to give back to her community. She returned to farming, rejecting conventional practices to run her farm the traditional Ugandan way.

Her 1000-acre farmland of fruit trees, herbs, and livestock run on a concept called permaculture where nothing is wasted.
Judith has been educating more people in her community about the benefits of running this type of farming.

Gist Nigeria is a 30-minute current affairs programme, co-produced by Channels Television and the BBC. The program offers in-depth reporting, focusing on stories behind the news and their impact on its audience.

Through Tropical Legumes projects, National Agricultural Research Institution like CSIR-SARI in collaboration with IITA have been developing and using quality seeds of improved varieties to attract youth in agriculture and reduce migration.

We met with a few Cowpea seed producers and farmers who shared their farming experience. Tropical Legumes projects was implemented in 14 countries with funding from Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation.

LEAF's Integrated Farm Management (IFM) makes sense of complex farm decision-making. This film outlines the key elements of IFM by showing what they are and how they interconnect on the farm.
This film, one of eleven, is being used to share good agricultural practice in Africa.
